What a Busy 6 Year Old

A lot has been going at Gabriel's school this week. They have been doing all sorts of activities for Drug Free week. Tuesday night was Family Fun Night. They had the book fair going on and BOOKO in the cafeteria. Last year when we played it was regular BINGO and he got bingo 3 times. This year he got it 5 times! BOOKO is a lot like BINGO only your card has names of books on it and they have a projector with questions and clues about books. I was amazed at how many books Gabriel knows. He loves to read, but I had no idea how many he has read in school. He even knew 4th and 5th grade books. My little man is so smart!!!

Today his class went to Mainstay Farm. They went on a hayride, picked out pumpkins, and had a picnic lunch. Tonight was also the 1st grade musical. It was really cute. G's class sang The Ants Go Marching. He got into the marching part a lot. We sat about 4 rows back and could clearly hear him singing. I thought he was going to be a bit shy, but he was all about it! I'll have lots more to post after this weekend. Tomorrow G's school is having a sockhop and the Cub Scouts are having their first campout Saturday. Alberto and Gabriel will be gone all day Saturday and most of Sunday. I have plans with some girlfriends for that day and night. It will be fun for all of us to get away from our men and have some girl time!
